Krista Stephenson, LMFTA
I believe that each of us desires a space where we can be our most authentic selves: our most vulnerable, most honest, and, at times, most wounded selves. I believe therapy can provide that space. A space where we have the freedom to explore, the safety to be vulnerable, and opportunity to discover authenticity and connection in new ways.
I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Associate (LMFTA) in the state of North Carolina. My training has included a variety of experiences including work with individuals, couples and families from a systemic perspective. Our work together will take into consideration the relationships, environment, and the cultural messages that impact us.
I believe each of us is capable of growth and change, even when the road is difficult or painful. This belief is reflected in the way that we will work together. Since I believe you are capable, the therapy process will be highly collaborative and unique to you and your goals. We will work toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and how we interact with the world around us in order to embrace ourselves and others more fully.
I look forward to our work together.
I am now accepting new clients and would love to work with you, your partner, or your family.
