Like A Girl Jr Workshop
The Like A Girl Jr Workshop is a group that explores what it means for middle school girls to be strong, confident, and part of an encouraging community. We'll talk about things like how to recognize healthy friendships, how to navigate conflict with friends, how to manage anxiety when you're feeling overwhelmed, how to have a positive body image, and how to be your own person when you just want to fit in.

About the Therapists
Lauren Egleston, LPC, LCAS
For over 10 years, I have been helping adolescents and adults with behavioral health issues feel better and begin living their lives based on true values. I am a licensed counselor who provides practical help to those who are experiencing problems such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, relationship issues and more. I believe that it is necessary to feel compassion, support and safety before you are able to begin making choices for health and recovery, and I provide a warm, nonjudgmental atmosphere within the therapy process.
Kristy Yetman, NCC, LPC
I am passionate about helping people get to know themselves more deeply and to find opportunities for growth in all circumstances. After moving to the United States from Canada over a decade ago, I earned my Master's in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). I believe deeply in the process of therapy and feel strongly that all of our experiences hold potential for growth and insight.
